Our marketplace allows makers and artisans to focus on doing what they love while leaving the rest to us! Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, we cater to local makers and shoppers across Canada.
We are driven by the desire to support makers in their creative journey. Recognizing that supporting the local economy means that you're not just buying a thing, but also a piece of one's heart; a moment of someone’s life. Most importantly, you’re giving the artist more time to do what they love.
What we do for local entrepreneurs:
We offer multi-platform exposure for local makers and artisans. Our marketplace isn't just available online, but can also be found as a shopping app on iOS and Google Play. The Locals also offers an in-store shopping experience for our customers.
When makers sign up with us, we provide storage for their products, along with packing and fulfilling orders on their behalf at no extra cost.
We take care of marketing, selling and delivery for our makers, so they have time to keep making and doing what they love.

When you shop at The Locals, you earn points to use toward savings on future orders.
We are also proud to offer our Locals Affiliate Program, where local lovers can earn cash for spreading the word and helping others find us and the many local makers we represent.
How it works:
When a maker signs up at The Locals, we collect their available products and store them at our fulfillment centre. We then pack, deliver or ship orders in one consolidated package. This makes it easier for both makers and shoppers to support each other!
Pick up and deliveries are only available in Winnipeg at this time, but shipping is available worldwide.
